We are happy to be active members of our community. Through donations, volunteering, and our work with the following organizations we strive to continue to be a community minded company, truly believing in corporate responsibility, even if we're not Walmart.

Obama & Biden 08

It is part of our civic duty to take part in the electoral process. While we are always open and willing to listen and converse with anyone about the candidates and the political system, we've decided who we want to back in this race. We've watched the debates and had several of our own. In the end we respect Senator Obama's campaign for their use of social media, plus he knows how to use a computer.

 

    

No on Prop 8

Being based in California is awesome. We're right up the road from the beach, a quick drive to the mountains, and have some epic sunsets. It also means we have to fight for certain causes that we believe in. As our state continues to break new ground in the struggle for civil rights, certain measures have been taken to try and revert the awesomeness that is California. We respect the rights of our fellow Californians and are happy to help in the fight for their rights as citizens. Prop 8 must be defeated.

 

Cookies for Kids Cancer

Cookies for Kids' Cancer was created to raise awareness of the lack of funding in pediatric cancer research. Every member of the Border7 staff knows someone who's life has been impacted by cancer and we were all happy to help the moment we saw the opportunity. Cookies for Kids' Cancer is a wonderful organization, please take a moment to browse their store and make a purchase or make a donation to help fight pediatric cancer.

Assistance League

The Assistance League utilizes several philanthropic programs to assist their local communities. They have several chapters across the US and they strive to put caring and commitment into action. The Assitance League helps youth by helping in reading enrichment, scholarships and camperships, summer schools, and just ensuring that our youth have a brighter future.

Everyday an estimated 4,100 men, women and children die in sub-Sahara Africa from a preventable, treatable disease. (Red) is a drive to eliminate AIDS in Africa. The campaign is a brilliant marketing concept, by teaming up with the world's most iconic brands they have given an entire continent hope. We proudly support this cause and try to purchase (Red) products when we are able to.
